Bill of Rights Day
So many times we pay too much attention to those around us. We hear the world say "God is not good" We hear the Devil say "If God were good this world would not be in the shape it's in." We listen to our emotions when they say "Noone cares about what your doing." We fall in to depression, forgetting to hear the MOST important voice. God, says "Cast all your care on Me because I DO care.." JOHN 3:16 - GOD IS GOOD.

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ~Charles Dickens

National Ding-a-Ling Day

How to celebrate - Be ever vigilant to the ding-a-lings that will come out of the woodwork. Ding-a-Lings will be everywhere: on the road, on the street, in stores, and even in your house! We suggest you get into the holiday spirit, and become a ding-a-ling yourself......But, please do so for just one day.
Christmas is Jesus. Immortal God wrapped in Mortal flesh. Immortal, Holy, Righteous, Sinless, Perfect God wrapped in flesh to battle sin, battle temptations, and emotions. Immortal God creator of the universe, wrapped HIMSELF in flesh for one purpose and one purpose only... to experience torture, beatings, pain beyond description; to die for our sins. Think about that this Christmas season it WILL change you.

As I was watching my kids It hit me that Christians (even adults) act just like them. My kids argue over insignificant, selfish things. None of them willing to give in to the other. They like to play together. Today Christian forgive. Stop fussing & fighting instead pray for the one who's hurt yout. Don't act like a spiritual child, but be a spiritual adult. Love your Spiritual sibling, even if they are wrong.

A Quote to Consider...

"He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree." - Roy L. Smith
http://ht.ly/7ST4y - Christ in Christmas. He is WHY we have Christmas to begin with. Listen to this short show, it will encourage you today to KNOW that Jesus IS who He claims to be.
Mat. 4:19 - "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Have you ever been fishing? I have. I had to wake up early, make sure the fishing line was not tangled, bait the hook, cast the line & wait. When Jesus said He would make us fishers of men He made (of course) the perfect illustration. Fishing for men, as well as fish takes patience. If you like to fish you'll love fishing for men! try it today.

Today my youngest child turns 1 year(s) old! Today, I heard of the death of a person. Today, I am brought back to say "Lord, may I be the father, husband, pastor, employee now. Most inportantly may I live for You NOW, because I may not have later. James 4:14 "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
http://ht.ly/7Rn6a - Some say that Christ was not God in flesh, here is a good point that shows He WAS God in flesh! That He is who he claimed to be.

Put on Your Own Shoes Day
http://ht.ly/7Q5Mh - WHAT?! Are you telling me I'm FAT! How dare you... yet so true. If you find yourself feeling a bit depressed because of your weight, listen in and BE ENCOURAGED. There is NO NEED to stay discouraged. Listen and SHARE this episode of War on Weight!!
Last night I took the kids to McDoald's. After the kids ate they ran off to play. I finished eating then, I went to watch the kids. They ended up talking me into the big tubes and sliding down the slide - I made sure noone was watching! It was a great time. So what does this mean? It means that we should try to spend LESS time with the business of this season and MORE time with the family. It WILL create a memory.
http://ht.ly/7Q2Ox - Christmas is the season of love. This is very fitting since Jesus came because of love. Listen and share. All comments welcome.

Bathtub Party Day

Draw yourself a tub full of warm water. Add a few bath oil beads, and Voila! You're ready to hop in and "soak it" in the bathtub. Ahh, how soothing and relaxing!

Don't let anything disturb the peace, quiet, and serenity of your bath. Turn off your cell phone. Put on your favorite CDs to a volume where you can't hear the doorbell ring.
Yesterday Harmony turned 4 years old. As we were talking about birthday's I began to think of Dec. 25 Jesus' birthday. I realize that many people claim Jesus is NOT God, however consider this... Matt. 2:1-6 points out that HUNDREDS of years earlier it was told the EXACT town where Jesus, the Christ would be born. I know this, Harmony did not CHOSE where she was born, yet Jesus DID. Why? Could it be because He IS God?

A Quote to contemplate...

Unless we make Christmas an occasion to share our blessings, all the snow in Alaska won't make it "white." - Bing Crosby
MMM friends... Some have seen my blogtalkradio brodcast I post every Saturday. I have two of them "War on Weight" - 15 minutes long and "Consider This...Consider That" 30 minutes long. I am going to be changing that spot. Beginning Monday DEC. 5th BOTH shows will be a SHORT - less than 10 min. They will be aired every weekday. Please pray that this will be used to bless many people. I want to invite you to join me.

National Fritters Day - Before you can begin to celebrate this very important day, you need to know what a "fritter" is. Many people do not know, making it all the more fun to eat your first fritter today. A fritter is a fried cake or dough with fruit or meats inside.
Good Morning MMM friends!! Today will be a wonderful day! I can tell you that with complete confidence because whether today goes the way we want or whether our life gets spun out of control, God IS on His throne and in control. So today will be a GREAT day because if God be for "us" who can be against "us"!

A Quote to contemplate...

Christmas isn't just a day. It's a frame of mind. - Valentine Davies in Miracle on 34th Street

Eat a Red Apple Day - It is really easy to participate in this special day. There are thousands of varieties of apples grown all over the planet. Your mission today, is to pick an apple among all of these varieties, and eat it.
I think I have pik eye. Both my eyes are red and while my eyes re not light sensetive, I can only look at the computer screen for a few seconds at a time. I began to think about "eye" protection. So many things in this world catch our eye. $, things, positions, people. Let the Bible be our "Eye " protection. When we begin to look & lust, turn away quickly. Pray for spiritual "pink eye". Look @ God NOT the world.
