Ps 117 - "Praise ye the LORD" Reason #6 to Praise the Lord (PTL) - Ps 138:2 "I will worship and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness" I am greatful that God bestows His lovingkindness upon His children. At times it doesn't seem that way, however we must remember ALL that God has done for us already. If it were not for His lovingkindness we would be eternally damned!! Life may get bad, but God is ALWAYS good. PTL!!!

Psalm 117 - "...Praise ye the LORD" - Reason #3 to Prasie the Lord - John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world..." With all His power God could have chosen to destroy His creation and begin again. He chose, instead, to LOVE us. Think about it, Romans 5: 8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, Christ died for us." Because of this we can PRAISE THE LORD!!

Psalm 117 - "...Praise ye the LORD" - Reason #2 to Praise the Lord. The phrase "for his mercy endureth for ever" is repeated 26x's in 26 verses in Ps. 136. I wonder if God is trying to make a point. Praise Him for His MERCY, We don't deserve it, yet He freely gives it!! PRASIE THE LORD!! I trust that you will take time to read Ps. 136. I will be listing 20 reasons to Praise the Lord.

Psalm 117 - "...Praise ye the LORD" Reason #1 that we can Praise the Lord - "I Stand Redeemed" go to http://ht.ly/229zj TO SEE the "AWESOMENESS" of this statement. I Promise you won't regret it!!
Reaon #1 We can Praise the Lord - "I Stand Redeemed"
When I think of all my faults and my failures
When I consider all the times I've let God down
I am humbled by hte grace He has extended
I'm amazed at the mercy I have found
I could never earn His love on my own
Yet every time I come before His throne
Chorus:
I stand redeemed by the blood of the Lamb
I stand redeemed before the great I am
When He looks at me, I sees the nail scarred hands
That bought my liberty
I stand redeemed
Even at my best I am unworthy
I have nothing precious i can give
A broken life is all I have to offer
And yet it's a priceless gift to Him
The bitter mark of sin will never fade away
But i can come before Him unashamed
*repeat Chorus

Genesis 3:22-24 - "...So he drove out the man." God had forgiven Adam & Eve for their sin, yet there were consequences for their actions. Christians must remember that while we can claim 1 John 1:9 there are still consequences for our chioces (good or bad). For example - "A person may choose to loose their temper then feel bad about what they have said, but the damage is done." Our choices affect others. CHOOSE WELL.

Genesis 3:15,21 "Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them." - When Adam & Eve sinned they saw the shame of what they had done. They tried to cover themselves with leaves, this represents our works - which fail miserably! It is ONLY God's Grace that can cover us. His BLOOD is the only way to completely ride the sin stain from our lives. What GREAT news! Let's go share it!!

Genesis 3:14-19 - "...unto dust shalt thou return." - The ultimate result of sin is DEATH. This death is physical, spiritual, emotional, & mental. Physical because sin caused the curse we see today, which includes death. Spiritual because God is perfect & will not allow sin in His presence. Emotinal because sin hardens us to the effect it has on us & people around us. Mental because a person in sin loses all logic.

Genesis 3:11-13 - "The woman... gave me of the tree..."Here Adam & Eve are confronted with their sin. What do they do? They played the blame game; "It's not MY fault, I was deceived. It's their fault." God's reaction was not; "You poor thing! That mean old serpent is the problem! You get off scott free." No, each one was held accountable for their own decision. The blame game doesn't work on God. Don't try it. REPENT

Genesis 3:8-10 - " I hid myself "- The inevitable result of sin is SHAME. Sin is done in secret. We do not want people to see what we have done, instead we try to cover it up which only makes us feel worse! We must become clean before God & those against whom we have committed the sin. Do not attempt to hide your sin any longer Fall before ALMIGHTY God & let His forgiving blood wash you white as snow! He's waiting...
Genesis 3:8-10 - " I hid myself " - I have yet to meet a Christian that is proud of sin they have committed. The inevitable result of sin is SHAME.

Genesis 3:2-5 - "Ye shall not surely die :" - Here it is...temptation plain as you like. Satan plants a small doubt as to what God plainly said. He tempts us with the thought, "Maybe I can get away with this sin in my life?" This becomes our "pet" sin. We try to hide it from the world, but we cannot hide ANY sin from G...od. He Sees ALL. Sin becomes the prison that keeps us from God. Time 2 REPENT Christians.

Psalm 66:20 - "Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me." - A simple Psalm of praise today for God showing Himself strong yet again!! The doctor said that the surgery went extremely well and was impressed at how good Holly did. Holly is obviously still sore and is to rest (Holly resting? This will be a miracle in and of itself!) until her next appointment in three weeks. God is GOOD

Holly is going to preop June 9th. She will be preparing for a surgery that will take place tommorrow June 10th. The surgery is meant to help hold the baby in "place" until Holly is far enough along to give birth. Because the next 2 days wil be very busy, I will not be posting MMM devotionals. I simply ask that you please pray for us, because this surgery does carry some risk of a miscarriage. Thank You &God bless.

Genesis 3:7 "And the eyes of them both were opened , and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together , and made themselves aprons." The eyes of Adam & Eve had been opened by sin to shamefulness. When we sin we are affected in the same way, we are embarrassed & too often we attempt fix it ourselves. We CANNOT. Only God has the proper solution. When trapped by sin, run TO God NOT the other way.

Genesis 3:1 "hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" - Eve answered, "of the tree in the midst of the garden, God said , Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it." - This is false. God said not to eat of the fruit. Eve had been set up, by Satan, to sin. We must STUDY God's Word so we can give a right answer & not find ourselves in the same place Eve found herself... in temptation & sin.

Today is mine and Holly's 11 year anniversary!! Those who know me feel bad for Holly. LOL! God has truely blessed me with a wife that is more then I deserve. She is strong where I am weak. I am a dreamer, she is a realist. I see the dream God has placed in my heart & she sees the steps that will take us there. Thank God for a wonderfully godly wife!! Happy anniversary Holly, I LOVE YOU!!!

Genesis 1:28-31 "behold, it was very good." - It is ONLY after man is created that calls his creation "very good". When God does something He always does it very god, it is we humans who come along and mess things up. Even after man turned against God in direct disobedience, God still loved him. We are now flawed, in fact we are not good at all, however one day Christians will once again not be good, but very good!

Genesis 1:26 - 27 "And God said , Let us make man in our image, after our likeness... in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." - Of ALL the creation God decided, in His infinite wisdom, to make us in His image. When man sinned a "God sized vacuum" was left. The Christians' vacuum has been filled by the Holy Spirit. Question: Does your life, show that your God sized vacuum is full?

Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness.. And the Spirit of God moved..." - We are no different spiritually, our lives are without form, empty, and full of darkness. The ways of men are evil; PERIOD! We cannot do ANYTHING on our own. Then...God moves! When God moves our life takes the form of Christ, is filled with the power of the Holy Spirit & we are taken from pitch black to His Light!
