Ps. 55:1 "Give ear to my prayer, O God; & hide not thyself from my supplication." God does hear when we cry out to Him. He is ever listening for our prayers. However, let us go to God with just needs, but go to Him with prayers of praise. In Gen 24 God answered the prayers of Abraham's servant before he was even done praying. The servant did not ask God for something else, instead He praised God for what He had done.
